Microsoft announced the acquisition of the Teamprise product line from SourceGear LLC in Nov. 2009. Teamprise connects integrated development environments (IDEs) that use the open source, Java-based Eclipse code base to Microsoft's Team Foundation Server (TFS) development collaboration server, thereby allowing development teams using a mix of Visual Studio and Eclipse IDEs to standardize on TFS.
