The new server bundles are intended to enable more predictable software expenditures and simpler asset management and will expand what resellers can offer in CASA. The bundles allow unlimited deployment of any editions of the included products. The bundles include SQL Server Platform Academic for SQL Server and BizTalk Server, Core Server Platform Academic for servers that correspond to Core Client Access License (CAL) suite components, and the Enterprise Server Platform Academic for servers that correspond to Enterprise CAL (ECAL) components, as well as Forefront Unified Application Gateway, Forefront Threat Management Gateway, FAST Search for SharePoint, and System Center Management Suite Datacenter.
