|Blocking Exploits with the Mitigation Toolkit 3.0|
|Wednesday, 30 May 2012|
Version 3.0 of the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) has been released and is officially supported by Microsoft. Companies can use the toolkit to harden older applications against exploits without rewriting or recompiling the applications. Administrators can use Configuration Manager to more efficiently distribute EMET, and users get better notification when attacks are blocked. EMET also works with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, so companies can test applications there.
