Current versions of some business server applications will not be supported on Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012, according to the company's current plans. That could limit the roles in which organizations deploy these two 2012 platform products and hinder standardization. However, application versions that will run on the 2012 platform are already available for testing and should appear in final form by mid-2013.
