Standard and Deluxe Editions of Money 2001 are now shipping. Standard (US$24.95 after a US$10 in-box rebate) enables users to customize its interface based on their particular financial priorities (e.g., reduce debt) and provides a feedback pane in the accounts register that warns of deviations from budget or upcoming bills. Money 2000 Deluxe (US$44.95 after a US$20 rebate) includes all the features of Standard and adds functions such as a wizard for planning personal investment strategies and the ability to exchange data with H&R Block's Kiplinger TaxCut tax preparation software. Microsoft worked with American Express Financial Advisors to develop the product's financial planning methods. A US$64.95 Business & Professional edition for self-employed professionals is due in Dec. 2000. Further information is available at www.microsoft.com/money.
