MSN Reorganization
May 3, 2004

David Cole now has direct control of the MSN sales and finance divisions, which formerly reported to Yusuf Mehdi. Worldwide sales are now led by Judy Gibbons, who previously was responsible for sales outside North America. Yusuf Mehdi retains responsibility for the portal side of the MSN business, with MSN.com oversight divided among Christopher Payne, Hadi Partovi, and John Scarrow. Meanwhile, Blake Irving has taken over the subscription-based businesses formerly led by Ted Kummert (who now leads the company's E-Business Servers software unit), while retaining responsibility for communications services, such as Hotmail and MSN Messenger.
