The Microsoft Resource Directory has a customer-to-partner focus, while Partner Channel Builder is directed at partner-to-partner relationships.

Available only to Certified and Gold Certified Partners, the directory lets customers search by country, type of offering (services, software, training), industry, company size, horizontal or vertical category, and other attributes. Customers don’t find specific solutions with this tool, but instead locate partners who have skills in specific areas and are located in particular areas. They can then contact the partner to determine how well the partner can meet their needs.
