The Hewlett-Packard (HP) MediaSmart Server, pictured here, will ship in the second half of 2007 with Microsoft's Windows Home Server software preinstalled. According to preliminary specifications, the device will be quite small—approximately 9.8 inches high, 9.2 inches deep, and 5.5 inches wide—and will have space for four internal hard drives and four USB-attached drives. Using HP's largest available drives (750GB), this gives the device up to 6TB of capacity.
