Facebook Docs, a version of Microsoft's Office Web Apps for Facebook users, launched an invitation-only beta in Apr. 2010. Created by Microsoft's Future Social Experiences (FUSE) research group, Docs is a Facebook application that lets users create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files in the XML-based file formats introduced with Office 2007, and store these documents on their Facebook profiles.
