A new public beta of Windows Intune, Microsoft's cloud-based PC management service, was released in July 2010. Intune allows small to midsize organizations to monitor, update, protect, and manage PCs using online services hosted in Microsoft datacenters, rather than using an on-premises management and security infrastructure.
