A second beta of Windows Live Essentials 2011 improves the suite of free Windows applications. Released in Aug. 2010, the second beta offers chat between Messenger and Facebook, more efficient Messenger video chat, higher bit-rate movies in Movie Maker, better spell-checking and Office formatting preservation in Writer (used for creating blog posts), and better handling of Gmail spam and trash folders by the Mail application.
