Surface Pro tablet computers made by Microsoft will become available in Jan. 2013 with 64GB of storage for US$899 and 128GB for US$999. The upcoming hardware uses an Intel i5 processor and runs Windows 8, whereas the Surface tablets that became available in Oct. 2012 use ARM-based processors and run Windows RT.
