Premium Assurance, a paid add-on to Software Assurance, offers an additional six years of security patches for versions of Windows Server and SQL Server after they leave Extended support

Support offering for EA (Enterprise Agreement) customers to provide critical and important security updates and bulletins for 2008 and later versions of SQL Server and Windows Server once they left Extended Support. Launched in 2017 and replaced by Extended Security Updates in 2018.
