Gus Volpe

Gus has been actively involved in engineering, project management and business analysis for over 25 years, and has worked in Canada, US, and Europe. He enjoys assisting clients in business and strategic planning, project management, requirements elicitation, implementation and optimization of IT processes and operations. Prior to joining Directions on Microsoft, Gus was employed by a major U.K. Engineering firm as Director, IT Projects, Governance and Compliance. He assisted internal clients in determining their productivity needs and providing creative operational and technology solutions.

As a Certified Engineering Technologist, Business Analyst and Project Manager, experienced in ITIL, Gus targets key areas such as; strategic business planning, IT operational issues such as policies, procedures and processes, enterprise resource planning and complex infrastructure implementation projects.

Gus holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree from Thompson Rivers University, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology – Computer Systems Design, from Conestoga College, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Gus is also a certified Business Analyst as recognized by the International Institute of Business Analysis as well as a Project Management Professional as recognized by the Project Management Institute.
