What You Don't Get During Incremental Migration

Many of Windows 2000's most-publicized features work only partially or not at all during the incremental migration phase. Windows 2000's major features for reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) and improving security require Active Directory. Organizations that need these features during incremental migration will have to investigate NT 4.0 alternatives from Microsoft or third parties. The table below shows the major features affected.
