The Dust Settles on Microsoft’s Recent Major Reorganization

After filtering through the organization for some time, Microsoft’s latest companywide restructuring can now be seen for the substantial change that it is. A new U.S. subsidiary was formed, certain marketing responsibilities were transferred to a newly created corporatewide Marketing Division, a new Enterprise and Partner Group was formed to sharpen Microsoft’s focus on large enterprises, and several major changes were made within the existing product groups themselves.
