In Brief: eShop adds search engine, late but in time for holidays

• Late, but still in time for the holiday rush, MSN’s eShop added a much-needed search engine. eShop is an online mall that links to articipating merchant sites and enables shoppers to do product research and comparison. The search engine—added Dec. 1, a month after the launch and just in time for a shopping season set to break e-commerce records—makes it possible to search for items listed anywhere on the site.
