SQL Server 2012 Receives Third Service Pack

SQL Server 2012 SP3 delivers fixes made since the June 2014 release of SP2 that improve performance and scaling and troubleshooting features. The service pack fixes scalability and performance issues in the storage engine affecting record locking and the use of temporary tables.
