A Qualifying Third Party Device, defined by the Product Terms as a client “device that is not controlled, directly or indirectly, by Customer or its Affiliates,” is a factor in Roaming Rights.

Microsoft does not elaborate on the meaning of “controlled,” but various Microsoft web pages provide home PCs and hotel Internet kiosks as examples of qualifying third party devices.
