Shared Computer Activation

Shared Computer Activation (SCA), first introduced in 2014, is used to handle activation of Office 365-branded applications on devices shared by multiple users, with each user logging in with their own account. Scenarios where SCA would be used include client devices used by different users through the day, such as a nursing station or factory floor kiosk, a server hosting session desktops, and a server hosting virtual desktops that use shared (nonpersistent) VMs (virtual machines).
