Virtual Desktop Access (VDA) subscriptions license access to Windows Client OSs running within server-hosted virtual desktops, also known as VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure), and in most cases also allows customers to install and run Windows Enterprise edition locally on client devices.

VDA is available as both Per-Device or Per-User licenses, and all use rights associated with either option are non-perpetual, meaning they terminate if the VDA subscription is allowed to lapse.
