Windows VDI Rights Flowchart

This flowchart illustrates the ways an organization can acquire the right to host Windows client OS-based virtual desktops on on-premises servers, within Azure VMs (virtual machines) managed by Windows Virtual Desktop, and within VMs hosted on third-party service provider’s multitenant hardware, and make the virtual desktops accessible to users. This scenario is most commonly known as a Virtual desktop infrastructure, VDI (and that is how the term is used here).
