Office Standard

Office Standard is a suite of client applications for Windows PCs that enable document editing, communication, presentation, and related functions. Through volume licensing programs, Office Standard is licensed under the Desktop Applications License Model, which determines when and how many licenses are needed in local installation, remote use, and server-based desktop scenarios. Licenses are assigned Per-Device, with some additional rights granted to the primary user of a licensed device, including remote use and portable device rights as well as roaming rights.
