Primary user

A primary user is defined as a user who uses a licensed device more than 50% of the time in any 90-day period. A device can have at most one primary user and certain shared devices, such as a shop floor kiosk used intermittently by many users, would not have a primary user. The primary user designation has licensing implications for Office client applications and Windows client OSs.
