SQL Server 2014 Receives Second Service Pack

SQL Server 2014 SP2 delivers fixes for bugs found since the May 2015 release of SP1 and improvements for performance, scalability, and diagnostics. Fixes correct a range of issues with managing log files, PowerShell scripts, Reporting Services, and query plans. Improvements primarily address advancements in hardware and larger memory sizes with features such as automatic addition of background processes, dynamic scaling of memory objects, and buffer pools that can address up to 128TB of memory.
