The Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC), previously called Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB), is used to label the slow cadence servicing model for on-premises products that also offer a fast cadence SAC (semi-annual channel) option. The relevance of the term LTSC has declined as Microsoft has altered its servicing model policy for various products. Today, the term is generally used only in conjunction with Windows 10 Enterprise (see Windows Enterprise).
