System Center Virtual Machine Manager

System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) is Microsoft's tool for storing, provisioning, configuring, deploying, and patching large numbers of VMs (virtual machines), as well as managing their physical hosts running hardware virtualization technologies including Microsoft’s Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and Citrix XenServer. VMM is licensed under the Management Servers License Model which requires servers and clients managed to be licensed with Server MLs (Management Licenses) and Client MLs respectively. However, VMM is most commonly used in conjunction with servers rather than clients.
