Azure Container Service Will Retire in Jan. 2020

Azure Container Service (ACS), Microsoft's initial offering for hosting and managing Docker containers in Azure, will be retired on Jan. 31, 2020. After that date, ACS APIs will be blocked, and customers will be unable to create new ACS clusters or scale existing clusters. ACS offers a choice of preconfigured orchestration software including DC/OS, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes, but it requires manual management of updates and patches to the environment after it is deployed.
