Kit: Migrating Compute Workloads to Azure VMs

Migrating compute workloads to Azure VMs is often the first approach organizations take when beginning Azure deployments. The so-called lift-and-shift method could minimize the effort and time for moving workloads from on-premises to Azure. For example, existing VMware and Hyper-V VMs can be hosted in Azure without reimplementing existing applications, although configuration changes will likely be required. However, VMware migration is not supported in all cases, and new management processes must be established when deploying on Azure.
