Azure Scheduler Service Shutting Down

The Azure Scheduler service is being discontinued, and it will be shut down on Dec. 31, 2019. Scheduler, which debuted in 2014, is a service that can initiate tasks from a central location in Azure data centers by invoking HTTP endpoints and sending messages to Azure Storage Queues. Several alternative Azure offerings provide functionality similar to Scheduler, including Logic Apps, Functions, Automation, Batch, Webjobs (part of App Service), and CycleCloud.
