SQL Server 2019 for Linux Available on Red Hat Enterprise 8

SQL Server 2019 for Linux is generally available to run natively on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 8 or as an RHEL-based container image. The update will likely interest organizations with expertise in RHEL that want to create high-availability SQL Server database environments using containers in a Kubernetes-orchestrated deployment such as Red Hat OpenShift. Using containers for high-availability environments could be simpler to administer and potentially less expensive than traditional Windows Server clusters.
