Office Adds Native Support for Apple Silicon

The updated versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote for Mac offer Universal support, where the applications include executable code for both Intel and Apple silicon-based Macs. This support removes the first-run startup overhead and any other performance costs of the Rosetta 2 translation layer, which is required to run Intel code on new Macs built with Apple's proprietary ARM-based M1 processors.
