Microsoft Clouds: Summary of Services

Cloud computing refers to a model in which computing resources such as servers, storage, and networking are provided by a third party and made available at charge, usually on a rental basis, to customers. A number of companies provide cloud computing; the largest of these, including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Alibaba, are called “hyperscale” cloud providers, meaning they can, in any reasonable scenario, provide however much capacity a customer requires.
