Cumulative Update (CU) 7 for Skype for Business Server 2019, released on June 29, 2023, includes bug fixes and improvements for Microsoft’s on-premises unified communication solution. Skype for Business Server 2019 is the most recent supported version and will be supported until at least Oct. 2025. CU7 includes OAuth support for Dial-In and Web Scheduler, which can help protect user credentials when connecting into those services. The update also adds the Skype for Business Emergency Mitigation Service (EMS), which can help protect Skype for Business Server deployments against newly discovered threats and vulnerabilities by applying Microsoft-provided mitigations until a full security update (SU) is available.
