Near-Term Roadmap (2026–2027)

The System Center suite typically receives major new version releases alongside or shortly following major Windows Server releases, which occur approximately every three years. The products within the suite receive few to no enhancements with these new versions, just a renewed product support timeline and support for the latest versions of Windows Server, Linux server OSs, other Microsoft server products (like SQL Server), and Azure-hosted services in select cases.

System Center 2025, the latest version of the server and client management suite, reached general availability in Nov. 2024, alongside Windows Server 2025. The suite delivers support for Microsoft’s latest server hosting platforms (Windows Server 2025 and Azure Stack HCI 23H2) and management support for Windows Server 2025 and recent versions of Linux.
