This chart outlines life cycle support dates, as well as initial release and service pack and service release histories for recent versions of Office.

Note that Office 2003 SP3 blocks import and export of several older file formats (including Corel Draw), a limitation that can create compatibility problems in organizations that use these formats. Optional updates released in Jan. 2008 enable organizations to centrally unblock affected formats using scripts or Group Policy.
