Charts & IllustrationsWhat's in a Competency?
The competency requirements of the new Microsoft Partner Program determine which program level a partner achieves, the types of solutions that the online Resource Directory lists for them, the benefits they receive from Microsoft, and the focus of their relationship with Microsoft.
The following chart lists general requirements for obtaining most competencies, plus the special requirements for a particular competency, in this case the Advanced Infrastructure competency. (For a list of other current competencies, see the chart “Current Competencies“.) A more detailed description of this competency can be read at members.microsoft.com/partner/program/competencies/aisolutions.aspx.
