  • Unattended Power Automate flows run workflows upon a trigger event or schedule without an interactive user.
  • These flows can run in a customer- or Microsoft-hosted environment.
  • Customers must purchase specific licenses to run unattended flows; Power Automate user licenses do not give rights to run unattended flows.

Unattended Power Automate flows can perform tasks such as generating recurring reports, sending reminder notifications, and processing e-mails as they arrive. Deployment and execution of unattended flows require particular Power Automate license types.
