StaffHub is a Microsoft-hosted work shift scheduling and collaboration service for deskless shift workers that is included on enterprise and kiosk Office 365 plans. The offering could improve communication and scheduling for mobile workers and retail employees and help Microsoft increase Office 365 engagement by users who primarily use mobile devices. However, the product lacks some administrative controls and could cause compliance problems if adopted by teams without proper organizational rollout.

In this screen capture, the interface for managers (team leads) is shown. Team managers go to the StaffHub Web page to define teams and set up resources. A manager can set up shifts for individual workers, whose daily assignments are shown in distinct rows. The blue header bar (above the rows for each worker) shows the total hours assigned to all team members for the week. Managers can send messages directly to team members or groups and can provide access to work documentation via a team file store (not shown).
