RoadmapService Bus
Service Bus provides application-to-application communication, including reliable messaging and relay of application communication across firewalls. Service Bus can help connect customer- and partner-facing applications, such as extranets, to on-premises systems and could also benefit applications on external hosting platforms including Azure.
Service Overview
Service Bus is available in Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers. Basic is for simple application messaging and does not include features such as transactions, deduplication, and topics. Standard includes all features and is intended for greater resource scaling. Premium offers the capabilities of Standard with dedicated CPU and memory allocations (called Messaging Units) to provide more predictable performance and a fixed daily billing rate.
Service Bus delivers two major classes of communication services:
Messaging. Service Bus Messaging queues and topics provide durable message queuing and publish-subscribe messaging to deliver messages reliably between applications.
