Microsoft Defender for Office 365 updates in preview and recently released include:
- Top-level domain and subdomain blocking in tenant allow/block now supported
- Tenant allow/block supports IPv6 addresses
- Tenant allow/block in all GCC environments on parity with commercial
- Integration of e-mail reporting button into Outlook for mobile devices.
Long Term (Beyond 2025)
Microsoft Defender for Office 365 will likely receive improvements including the following:
- Continued integration of incidents into the Microsoft Defender XDR portal
- Integration of AI-driven incident
