Microsoft is rapidly innovating and adding features to M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat. Figure 1 shows new and improving features in M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, which may also relate to other M365 products and services integrated with M365 Copilot.

M365 Copilot

The cloud service is updated continually by Microsoft. Customers enrolled in the Frontier program have access to preview features, but after the feature is generally available, it’s rolled out to all customers, usually over a period of a month or more.

M365 Copilot Chat

Copilot Chat is tied to the M365 Copilot servicing. Some features of M365 Copilot may trickle down to Copilot Chat, but in most cases those features will be limited or have restricted capability compared with the licensed version.
