Michael Desmond

Michael leads the Directions on Microsoft editorial team. He is an award-winning editor and author who most recently served as Director of Content at IT research firm GigaOm and before that as Editor-in-Chief of Microsoft’s MSDN Magazine.

Mike holds an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and a B.A. in Soviet Studies from Middlebury College.
