Visual Basic 6.0 Extended support ends Apr. 8, 2008, having left Mainstream support Mar. 31, 2005. All other Visual Studio 6.0 components left Mainstream support in 2003 and Extended support is not available.

The Visual Basic 6.0 runtime and the VBA development environment and runtime are not affected by these dates; instead, they follow the support schedules of products that ship them (such as Windows and Office).
