Microsoft Server products are priced using four different models. The chart below summarizes each of the four pricing models. It also lists the Windows NT 4.0–series products (e.g., products released in 1999 or earlier, such as Windows NT 4.0 Server, SQL Server 7.0) and the Windows 2000–series products (e.g., Windows 2000, SQL Server 2000) that support each particular pricing model. Note that versions of some Microsoft Server products support more than one pricing model. For example, SQL Server 7.0 supports Concurrent-Use, Per-Seat, and Internet Connector pricing models.
