Charts & IllustrationsProject for the Web
Project for the Web is an Office 365 service that provides Web-based project management capabilities designed for informal project managers and includes integrations with Teams and Power BI. This screen shot shows the Project for the Web interface in Timeline view, displaying project tasks, their owners, expected durations of the tasks within the project, and the dependencies and workflow. Other views include Grid and Board views, which can be selected at the top. A Zoom slider determines how many days, weeks, or months are currently visible.
New tasks can be added to the project using the “Add new task” item at the bottom of the screen, and users can select any task in the project view to edit that task. The Technical Review task is currently selected. The edges of the task in the Gantt chart can be dragged to change the task duration, and dots on either end can be clicked to change task dependencies. Clicking the icons next to the task name will display menus for editing other properties of the task.
