Service Overview

Azure Service Health is a free service that tracks the health of the Azure services underneath an organization’s Azure resources and displays this status in a configurable dashboard in the Azure portal.

Service Health tracks the following:

  • Service issues—technical problems with underlying Azure services
  • Planned maintenance—upcoming maintenance that is likely to affect the customer’s Azure resources
  • Health advisories—changes or issues that require attention or some form of administrative action (such as the deprecation of a service or an Azure resource nearing a quota).

Items surfaced through Azure Service Health are visible through the Azure portal. (For an example of Azure Service Health status surfaced through the Azure portal, see the illustration “Azure Service Health in the Azure Portal“.)
