  • Microsoft Sustainability Manager is now Dynamics 365 Sustainability with the same tiers, features, and costs.
  • It’s been realigned alongside Dynamics 365 Finance, which is receiving a “green ledger” report that combines financial and emissions data.
  • Costs are unchanged and still driven by Dataverse storage, consumption-billed AI features, and the external ESG supplier portal.

Microsoft has renamed Microsoft Sustainability Manager as Dynamics 365 Sustainability, a change that’s mostly a matter of packaging and an attempt to reposition the product alongside Dynamics 365 Finance. The realignment reflects Microsoft’s attempt to drive awareness of the new Dynamics 365 ledger view, which shows a combination of financial and emissions data, as well as its broader effort to sell sustainability reporting as part of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite rather than as a stand-alone industry cloud. Existing customers should experience no immediate changes beyond the updated name.
