Azure billing metrics and pricing vary widely by service. Each service is priced with unique meters, which are based on rates such as time, storage space, and number of operations. Many Azure services are offered in multiple tiers, which allow customers to select a set of capacities for provisioned service instances. Service prices vary by region.

This chart shows the meters, tiers, and price ranges for a sample set of popular Azure services. Prices shown are pay-as-you-go rates for the West US 2 region in most cases and are based on 730-hour months.
