Azure Site Recovery Workload Support
Azure Site Recovery (ASR) can be used with most Microsoft applications and many third-party applications. Most applications use their own native technologies to enable protection of the application, like SQL Server Always On Availability Groups. Certain roles, like Linux servers running applications, and SAP are tested for use with ASR by Microsoft itself. The chart here lists the applications supported for use with ASR, regardless of whether ASR is being used in an Enterprise site to Enterprise site (E2E), Enterprise site to an Azure region (E2A), or Azure region to Azure region (A2A), and whether Hyper-V or VMware are used as the host hypervisor on-premises.
